YB loses 1: 2 – “At some point everything will come to an end”

The Young Boys remained unbeaten in the league at home for over two years. The fact that the series ends on Sunday against Servette follows a certain logic.

Contrary to the game, Servette takes the lead in the 22nd minute through Alex Schalk (not in the picture). YB goalie David von Ballmoos and Cédric Zesiger are left behind.

It almost seems as if the Young Boys have two head coaches.

One, Gerardo Seoane, is at the very front of his zone on the sidelines. He corrects and gesticulates when an action does not succeed. Which is often the case on this Sunday afternoon in Wankdorf. The other is in the stands twenty meters behind Seoane. It is Fabian Lustenberger, the captain who is forced to watch. Thickly wrapped up with a hat and mask, he gives the impulse to press, then he cheers. Lustenberger, this much becomes clear, does not want to come to terms with the impending defeat.
