The Chinese company Xiaomi, according to Internet sources, will soon replenish the range of relatively inexpensive smartphones with two new products. Most likely, the upcoming devices will be released under the Redmi brand.
We are talking about devices with the codenames Gauguin and Gauguin Pro. They are said to have a multi-module camera with a high-resolution main sensor.
In particular, the Gauguin model is credited with a 64-megapixel sensor, and the Gauguin Pro modification – a 108-megapixel one. Moreover, it is argued that the Gauguin Pro will be the most affordable smartphone on the market equipped with such a camera.

In the second quarter of this year, according to Gartner estimates, 294.7 million smartphones were shipped worldwide. The market plunged 20.4% year on year. Xiaomi, with 8.9% of the industry, ranks fourth in the ranking of the leading suppliers of smart cellular devices.
