Now when I quickly look around, I only see various American and Asian brands that come out of nowhere. (Considering, for example, that Tata and Sion are established brands in Asia)

I don’t read anything about advertising or rent/lease constructions.

More from my own experience with Xiaomi products and all the data that goes through my router unnoticed and advertising that they push.
I’m glad I have affordable hardware with custom firmware or a tight firewall/pihole.
