The Xiaomi Mi Band fitness bracelet is very popular worldwide for its combination of functions and attractive prices. It is he who significantly secures Xiaomi one of the leading positions in the wearable electronics market. While Xiaomi Mi Band 4 was a welcome evolution that brought the color display, the model Mi Band 5 he also dared to change the design and method of charging.
The design of the previous model should be the basis for the upcoming Mi Band 6, at least according to the leaked photo, which was available as an appendix on the website of the Declaration of Conformity of the European Union. The bracelet is to be made for Xiaomi again by the Huami company, which will work with the Chinese giant for at least another three years.
At first glance, the design changes are not big at all. Apparently, Xiaomi will try to maintain physical dimensions, mainly due to compatibility with spare straps. Xiaomi Mi Band 5 was not 100% identical to the previous generation, which customers were unhappy about. The Mi Band 6 will probably have the same dimensions, but the display should enlarge a bit again. The preservation of the same magnetic charger also deserves praise.

Further improvements are to take place under the hood. A major change should be the presence of an SpO2 sensor that monitors blood oxygenation during exercise. We can also look forward to Amazon voice assistant Alexa, improved activity tracking, built-in GPS or NFC. The question is whether the NFC version will actually reach our market and whether Xiaomi will also support it with mobile payments, but I doubt it enough.
