Xiaomi Mi 11 Reaches 120 Points From DxOMark

Jakarta, Selular.ID – DxOMark has released a camera review of the Xiaomi Mi 11 phone four months after its launch. The Mi 11 series which has a 108MP camera scores 120 points. However, it is far behind its brother, the Mi 11 Ultra, which has a score of 143 points from the DxOMark list.

The overall score breakdown shows the Mi 11’s score of 127 points for photos, 59 points for zoom, and 107 points for video.

When compared to the Mi 10T Pro which also has a 108MP triple camera setup, the Mi 10T Pro 5G scores higher in zoom with 61 points and in the video category with 110 points, but has a lower photo score of 121 points.

According to the reviews, the Mi 11 normally opens well, but sometimes lacks in some cases resulting in the shadows being cut off. However, this is rarely a problem due to the fairly wide dynamic range of the phone.

DxOMark tested a very detailed main camera image, even getting a new high score of 111 points for texture.

When compared to some other flagship phones, Autofocus doesn’t have the best quality as it slows down in low light, but is fast and accurate when there is enough light.

Ultrawide cameras also do a good job but some of the drawbacks are softness in the corners and edges of the colors.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 would have scored higher if it had a telephoto camera which would help with its zoom score, but Xiaomi decided to use a 5MP macro camera instead. The side effect is that the user starts to lose details when they start zooming in.

When it comes to portraits, the Mi 11 does a good job of separating the subject from the background. However, the results are sometimes inconsistent and artifacts often appear in images that dispense with the illusion of shallow depth of field.

The high-resolution main camera also helps Mi 11 with its high video score. Noise levels are said to be very low and there is a lot of detail when recording in 4K.

Unfortunately, color accuracy has decreased when recording in low light.
