Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro reportedly out of stock after only 55 seconds

A few days ago, after the presentation of the Galaxy S20, S20 + and 20 Ultra of Samsung, Xiaomi has, in turn unveiled its new flagship in China: the Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro.

And like the new models from Samsung, those from Xiaomi also have impressive technical data sheets, to name just the SoC Snapdragon 865, the main camera of 108 megapixels, or even the fast charging capacities which reach 50 W on the Pro model.

This Pro model is particularly interesting since it, according to DXOMark tests, exceeds the Huawei Mate 30 Pro as well as the iPhone 11 Pro, in terms of photos and videos.

For the moment, it is not known when the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro will be marketed in Europe. But in China, sales have already started. And in no time, the stock available for the first sale would have run out.

As reported by the GSMArena site, on the social network Weibo, Xiaomi has announced that its Pro model has gone out of stock after only 55 seconds.

These sales would have generated more than 200 million yuan, the equivalent of 26,400,000 euros. According to GSMArena, this would correspond to 33,300 to 40,000 units sold.

We are still waiting for the presentation of these devices in Europe

As a reminder, Xiaomi was to present the Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro in Europe during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

But because of the risk of spreading the coronavirus, the show was canceled. And Xiaomi postponed the presentation of the Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro.

Normally, it is during this presentation that we will know the prices of these devices in Europe.

On the other hand, it is still unclear what the effects of this epidemic will be on Xiaomi’s supply chain.

Recently, Apple, for example, has admitted that there will be iPhone shortages due to production slowdown. Indeed, the return to normal would be slower than expected.
