Suaranusantara.com- Xiaomi recently launched their newest smartphone, namely the Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Edition in China on February 22 2024.
This launch was also accompanied by the debut of the regular version of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and the titanium version in the Chinese market. Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Edition is an improvement on the previous model, Xiaomi 14 Pro which was released in October 2023.
The main difference lies in the use of titanium material for the body frame, in contrast to the regular version which uses aluminum.
This titanium body frame is designed using 99% pure aerospace-grade titanium, which is often used in the aerospace industry.
This material combination is also equipped with high-strength aluminum alloy, as well as Dragon Crystal Glass protective glass on the front and back of the cellphone.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Edition has an interesting special feature, namely two-way satellite communication capabilities. This feature allows cell phone owners to communicate with China’s Tiantong satellite in emergency situations when no cellular signal is available.
Not only that, the Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Edition is also equipped with the Xiaomi Pengpai T1 chip, the same as the one used in the titanium version of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
The price is also higher compared to the aluminum version, with prices reaching 7,000 yuan for the 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage variant. Apart from the titanium frame and satellite communication features, the specifications of the Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Edition remain the same as the regular version.
The 6.73 inch curved OLED screen, three rear cameras with a 50 MP sensor, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, as well as various other features such as an under-screen fingerprint scanner and the Android 14 operating system are still maintained in this model.
