Bisnis.com, JAKARTA – Xiaomi serious about developing a device with fast charging capability using wireless technology or wireless. Recently, Xiaomi’s wireless technology can quickly charge up to 80W.
Report from Edge, Tuesday (20/10/2020), the Xiaomi video shows a modified Mi10 Pro with a power of up to 80 W. This 4,000 mAh capacity device can be charged from empty to full in just 19 minutes.
Verge said the charging speed is faster than Oppo’s AirVOOC technology which is only around 65W.
Xiaomi hasn’t announced when a phone with 80W wireless charging will be launched.
Fast charging with wireless technology has been the focus of Xiaomi for several years. Xiaomi is constantly releasing phones with higher specifications for wireless charging.
Xiaomi recently presented Mi 10 Ultra with 50 W wireless technology, in which a 4,500 mAh battery can be fully charged in 40 minutes.
However, fast charging with wireless technology is not yet a trend in the world except in China. In the land of the bamboo curtain, Huawei and Xiaomi compete with each other to provide the best device battery charging experience.
In Europe, the OnePlus 8 Pro still dominates wireless fast charging with a 30W charger. Apple’s new MagSafe charger for the iPhone 12 line charges up to 15 W.
