TIME.CO, Jakarta – In the last month, someone managed to steal a photo of the front of the phone Xiaomi 13 Pro that will come. Leaked images of the rear view emerged last week which is nothing more than part of what will be the phone’s most important feature: the camera.

The Pro model of the Xiaomi 13 is said to show the same IMX989 sensor (1 inch, 50 MP) as the one on the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The 12S Ultra phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. It is rumored that the 13 series will switch to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. There will also be continued collaboration with Leica.
The design is a bit surprising because it is quieter than the 12S Ultra which has a huge island for its rear camera. Also on the island, the current 1-inch camera is on the left side and not the middle one (ultrawide camera).
Like the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, which is a sophisticated camera phone, the Xiaomi 13 Pro also has all sides as its flagship. It retains the configuration of the triple rear camera even if the details of the other two are not yet known.
Outside of the camera, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is expected to follow the same formula as its predecessor, namely the 6.7-inch 120Hz QHD + Amoled display. A leak from the front photo shows a 12 + 3GB RAM configuration.
The Xiaomi 13 series is expected to arrive at the end of this year. The announcement is likely a few weeks after Qualcomm’s release Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 scheduled for mid-November.
