More journalists have the opportunity to check the Xbox Wireless Headset and the Italian branch of IGN stumbled upon surprising news. Microsoft’s hardware announced the need to upgrade the virtual reality goggles.

As you know, Microsoft has not announced the goggles for virtual reality and the company is currently focusing on two-generation consoles and is constantly expanding the Xbox Game Pass offer. It is for this reason that the message noticed by the IGN Italia editorial office aroused the interest of journalists.
After connecting the Xbox Wireless Headset to the Xbox (check out the presentation), the following message appears on the TV screen: “VR headset needs to be updated”. The editor emphasizes that it was not a simple mistake, because the information about the VR headset was also added in the following news: “VR headset update available” and “Update VR headset”.
It’s hard to say what Microsoft is planning, but there are probably three scenarios – one employee added a bad message on the Italian version of the Xbox Wireless Headset, Microsoft is working on third-party VR support, or the company is developing new hardware.
Taking into account the current situation in the industry, offering cooperation with various VR goggles on the Xbox Series X could turn out to be a bull’s eye. Microsoft does not have to create its own device, but it can expand the offer of the most powerful console on the market.
