Given the long wait to which Microsoft is subjecting us to find out the price and launch date of Xbox Series X, together with the appearance of Xbox Series S that we now know to be real thanks to multiple rumors, it was inevitable that sooner or later a consistent leak with this information would arrive.
And the leak comes today from multiple sources, all very reliable: the site Windows Central, the journalist Brad Sams e l’insider WalkingCat they all published leaks on the new consoles simultaneously, all consistent with each other and extremely convincing and credible.
We thus discover that both consoles will be marketed Tuesday 10th November, the week following what the rumors have suggested so far. Xbox Series X will cost $ 499, while Xbox Series S will cost $ 299; we remind you that the latter will have the same processing and graphics capabilities (ray-tracing included) of the older sister, but at a reduced resolution of 1080p and without an optical reader.
Coming instead toappearance of Xbox Series S, this will break away from the Series X shape with a more classic and “flat” look; leaked images confirm that it will not have an optical drive and will feature the aeration grille of a circular black-colored fan in contrast to the rest of the all-white console; probably this particular aesthetic was wanted to not make it too similar to Xbox One S. The cooling system appears to be identical to that of an Xbox One S, with an upper grille for the air outlet (with the console placed in horizontal) and two side grids for the entrance.
