Last week, Microsoft confirmed that Xbox Live Gold will end and be replaced by Game Pass Core in September, which also means that the next round of Games with Gold will be the last. Then it’s a real shame that the service ends not with a bang, but with a whimper.
Microsoft has announced that the following two games will be the final Games with Gold:
Blue Fire from 1 to 31 August.
Inertial Operation from 1 to 31 August.
I can safely say that the collection of over 25 games included with Game Pass Core is far superior to what Games with Gold has offered over the past couple of years, so it’s quite fitting that the latter ends this way.
