Los Xbox and PlayStation gamers get ready for a new co-op game which is coming very soon, as We Were Here Forever is finally coming to consoles early next year. We Were Here Forever is the fourth game in the series. We were here, a unique and exclusively multiplayer online co-op franchise that started in 2017 with We Were Here. The first game was followed by We Were Here Too in 2018 and a third installment known as We Were Here Together in 2019.
We Were Here Forever has been available for PC gamers since May of this year. It retains the franchise’s signature online co-op focused puzzle solving, with players having to communicate with each other to escape a creepy Antarctic castle. It’s one of the rare games, like It Takes Two, that has to be played co-op, with no other single-player options available.

The date of We Were Here Forever The launch of PlayStation and Xbox is January 31stat that point it will be released for all Xbox consoles such as One and Series X|S and also for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. We Were Here Forever has cross-play support, so Xbox players can play with PlayStation players and vice versa, which it should be a useful feature for all those co-op game enthusiasts out there.
We Were Here Forever on PC has managed to garner fairly positive reviews largely since its original release earlier this yearand we don’t think there’s any reason to expect the console versions of We Were Here Forever to have a different reception barring unforeseen technical issues – a scenario we can’t rule out entirely.
