The “Dead Man,” who probably had his final match at WrestleMania 36 two years ago, will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame over WrestleMania weekend, the ceremony taking place on the Friday before Mania after the TV show Friday Night SmackDown. At WrestleMania itself, the surviving inductees tend to have brief appearances. It remains to be seen whether more will happen than the taker being briefly celebrated by the fans in his Texas homeland. A match can be ruled out, the now 56-year-old had repeatedly emphasized after a long struggle with himself that he no longer felt physically able to perform at the necessary level.
