The price of the Wuling BinguoEV in Indonesia has been officially announced. The electric vehicle is offered starting at IDR 358 million.
Arif Pramadana, always the Vice President of Wuling Motors Indonesia, said that the Wuling BinguoEV has received a positive response from the public since it was first introduced. He believes that the presence of these two electric cars will strengthen their market in the electrification segment.
“In the prebook period, Wuling BinguoEV succeeded in attracting the attention of the Indonesian people. This was indicated by the number of orders reaching thousands of units. So today, we are proud to launch BinguoEV,” said Arif when announcing the price in South Jakarta, Friday (15/ 12).
The Wuling BinguoEV long range variant is priced at IDR 358 million, while the premium range is IDR 408 million. All have status on the road Jakarta.
One of the attractions provided is a lifetime guarantee to consumers. Apart from the premium variant, this guarantee also applies to the long range variant. The guarantee applies to the power battery, motor drive and motor control unit.
Wuling BinguoEV specifications
Wuling BinguoEV first appeared in Indonesia at the Periklindo Electric Vehicles Show (PEVS) exhibition which took place last May. Meanwhile, the unit was officially launched and could be ordered in mid-November.
In terms of specifications, the Wuling BinguoEV is marketed with an IP67 certified Lithium Ferro Phosphate battery. The long range trim with a capacity of 31.9 kWh can travel up to 333 km, and the premium trim with a capacity of 37.9 kWh can travel up to 410 km.
Regarding size, the Wuling BinguoEV is bigger than the Air EV. This car has dimensions of 3,950 mm in length, 1,708 mm in width and 1,580 mm in height. Apart from that, BinguoEV has 15 inch rims wrapped in 185/60 rubber.
Regarding safety features, there are two airbags in the front row. Then, the braking is also equipped with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD). The braking is also electric and equipped with Automatic Vehicle Hold.
Not only that, the manufacturer also equipped it with other features, such as Electronic Stability Control, camera and parking sensors, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Immobilizer, Smart Start System, Keyless Entry, Cruise Control, and many more.
