WTV swimming: A shower of medals for the young swimmers of the WTV

The swimming talents of the WTV delivered excellent performances over the weekend at the Austrian Short Course Championships in Graz.

WELS, GRAZ. Once again, the 14-year-old twin siblings Lena and Lukas Edl were primarily responsible for this. Lukas won the 200m medley at the highest level and he was also able to win the 100m competition in butterfly and back. He was second in the 200m butterfly and third in the 100m freestyle and 100m chest. This made him the most successful athlete of his year.
Sister Lena was also great with three medals, just missing a title in the 200m medley and finishing second in the 200m breaststroke. A third place came over the 100m chest distance.
The supervisors were particularly pleased with the third place in the 4x50m layer relay, which Lukas Edl, Jonas Lichtenwagner, Filip Ivancevic and Thibault Celedin conquered.
