The RX-E-Sport-Invitational is intended to replace the real racing weekends that had to be postponed due to the Cornavirus pandemic. The first race will replace the season opener planned for April 19 in Barcelona. DiRT Rally 2.0 from Codemasters is used on the PC gaming platform Steam.
Some WRX drivers will take part. Who exactly will be announced at a later date. You will compete against Simracer, who can qualify in a 6-lap race on the virtual Catalunya circuit.
Fans can compete against real drivers
To participate, the PC-Steam players must go to the “My Teams” section of DiRT Rally 2.0 on Saturday, March 28th from 11:00 a.m. and there in the overview of the events the specially marked button of the FIA World Rallycross Championship click.

Important tool for fan loyalty
The previous DiRT e-sports event took place at the Autosport International Show 2020. Back then there was a total of $ 10,000 in prize money.
“This partnership with the FIA World Rallycross Championship is further proof that rights holders want to keep in touch with their fans through motorsport games in this very difficult time,” added Dmitri Kozko, CEO of Motorsport Games.
