Worldwide record number of twins born – Het Belang van Limburg

Never before have so many twins been born worldwide. This peak can be explained by the increased use of techniques such as IVF and the fact that mothers become pregnant at a later age. This can be read in the journal Human Reproduction on Friday. The article was entitled “Twin Peaks”.
