Doha: Qatar will temporarily suspend the visitor visa. The Ministry of the Interior has decided to suspend the entry of all visitors to Qatar across the air, land and sea borders from 1 November 2022. During the World Cup, only Haya card holders will have access. Holders of the Haya card will be able to stay in the country until January 23, 2023.
Meanwhile, Qatari citizens, residents, GCC citizens with a Qatari ID card, individual recruitment visas and entry permits to work and humanitarian cases will also be allowed entry during this period through the airport.
The ministry made it known on Wednesday at a press conference on the restriction on entry and exit to Qatar during the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar, which begins on November 20, 2022.
