Workers of electro-intensive companies, such as Alcoa San Cibrao and Alu Iberica, have marched this afternoon through the streets of A coruña, in a protest that has left the headquarters of the Board -in Monelos- to finish before the Government Delegation.

During the rally before the Government Delegation, in the Plaza de Ourense, the workers chanted slogans in favor of the intervention of the two plants. Some have thrown eggs against the facade of the Delegation and there has even been some moment of tension with the riot control agents of the National Police who guarded the Government building in Galicia.
This mobilization was scheduled to take place last Friday, March 10, but was suspended due to the closure of A Mariña due to the coronavirus outbreak that prevented Alcoa workers from traveling.
