Metz Handball will not have a long journey to make to play its Champions League round of 16. The EHF, Metz and Dortmund have indeed found the ideal place. The round of 16 (round trip) will be played in Lorraine at the Palais des Sports Jean-Weille de Gentilly in Nancy. The first leg will be held on Friday March 12 at 5 p.m., the return Sunday March 14 at 4 p.m.
Initially scheduled for this Sunday (in Dortmund), the round of 16 first leg could not be played due to sanitary conditions and regulations between Moselle (France) and Dortmund (Germany) which impose a five-day quarantine.
