Woman climber, Eva (24), who was reported mysteriously missing in Mount Abbo, Maros, South Sulawesi (South Sulawesi), was found. Eva’s victims are now in the joint SAR evacuation stage to the foot of the mountain.
“Found safe,” said the head of the office Basarnas Makassar Djunaidi to detik.com, Wednesday (9/6/2021).
Djunaidi revealed that Eva was found 2 kilometers from the point where she was reported missing at around 16.30 WITA. The condition of the victim is said to be still in a weak condition.
“While being evacuated, he is in a weak condition and cannot be questioned much,” he said.
“So the SAR officers in the field are still focused on evacuating victims to the foot of the mountain,” continued Djunaidi.
Jacket is a hint
Regarding the initial discovery of the victim, Djunaidi said the victim’s jacket was a strong clue.
“The jacket was followed, the direction of the jacket. Then the jacket was dirty on the sleeves, meaning he was lying down or walking with his hands,” said Djunaidi.
As is known, Eva and 10 of her fellow students started climbing in the mountains Mount Abbo, Maros, South Sulawesi, since Sunday (6/6). Eva initially said goodbye to urinate to her colleagues.
Mysterious Lost
Eva is called urinating behind large rocks in a river. But lately the victim did not return so his colleagues looked for him.
Unfortunately, Eva’s companion only found her sandals so she was reported lost. Therefore, a combined SAR of 100 people has been searching since Monday (7/6).
Then entering the third day of the search, Wednesday (9/6), the combined SAR strength increased to 150 people. The victim was found today and immediately evacuated to recover his condition.
