National Basketball Associations (NBA) The Washington Wizards will play the final part of the season without Davis Bertans, but it has been decided to entrust his role to development league basketball player Jerian Grant, the club announced.

It has already been reported that Bertan, who will become a free agent in the fall, has decided not to go to the final phase of the season in Orlando. As Tommy Shepard, the general manager of the Wizards, revealed in a conversation with the media organized by Wizards, the decision of the basketball player was made understandably in the team.
Grants played this season at the Wizards farm club Capital City Go-Go, where they played 39 games, 37 starting in the top five. The basketball player averaged 16.3 points per game, won 4.3 rebounds and returned 5.9 assists.
Until the end of the season, Grants attacked the basket from the long-range line with 43.5% accuracy, which was the fifth best performance in the tournament.
This season, Grants reached the limit of 20 points 12 times and five of them scored “double-double”.
During his career, Grants has played a total of 273 games in the NBA, representing the New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls and Orlando Magic. In the NBA draft in 2015, he was selected by the Wizards with the total number 19, but on the same day he was replaced by the Atlanta Hawks.
It was also announced on Thursday that the Los Angeles Lakers had reached an agreement with the experienced basketball player Earl Joseph Smith.
The experienced basketball player last played in the NBA in 2018, when he represented the Cleveland Cavaliers. He already trained with the Lakers in February, but the unit signed a contract with defender Dion Weiters.
Smith has spent 15 seasons in the NBA in total. In 2004, he was nominated by the New Orleans team. During his career, Smith also played for the Denver Nuggets and the New York Knicks, where I received the award in 2013 as the best sixth player in the league.
In 2016, Smith, along with teammate Lebron James, became the NBA Cavaliers champion.
Transfers to the NBA were allowed until July 1, but six days later the clubs have to arrive in Orlando, where the season is due to end.
It has already been reported that the NBA season will resume on July 31 with 22 teams meeting at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando.
