A woman accusing Harvey Weinstein of having raped her twice had to stop her testimony in court because of a panic attack. The judge then decided to suspend the case.
The woman is one of the most important witnesses against Weinstein. During the interrogation by the film producer’s lawyer for more than four hours, she repeatedly broke into tears. When she did not calm down after a short break, the judge decided to stop the interrogation.
Weinstein’s lawyer Donna Rotunno attacked the woman hard. She said the witness is a liar who manipulated Weinstein to build a career in the film industry. Among other things, Rotunno sent emails from the woman to Weinstein, in which she thanked him for his support, among other things. She sent it after the rapes that she accused Weinstein of.

She also writes that he has taught her to be a woman. According to the woman, she kept in touch with the film producer because he threatened her.
The witness, who wants to remain anonymous, also had to read from Rotunno an e-mail to her ex-boyfriend a year after the rape. In it she describes Weinstein’s body, which would have many scars from operations. She also writes that he no longer has a ‘working penis’.
Friday the woman was already heard by the court. She then stated that she found an injection needle in the bathroom with an anti-erectile remedy. The case will continue later today.
