Without believing in COVID, Carlos Villagrán ‘Kiko’ goes for governor in Querétaro

After announcing it through his social networks in December, this Sunday, January 10, the actor Carlos Villagrán, known for his character of “Kiko” in the program El Chavo del Ocho, he registered as a candidate for the governorship for Querétaro.

The actor, who participated with Roberto Gómez Bolaños In the Televisa family program, he offered a press conference after registering as a candidate for mayor and governor of the entity.

In it, Villagrán explained that his registration is given by the local party Querétaro IndependentTherefore, he considers it an honor to participate in the political contest after experiencing his role as an actor.

“After 50 years of making people laugh, I find myself on another platform, which does me a tremendous honor,” he said at a press conference after completing the process, which will be resolved on February 8.

In addition, Carlos Villagrán thanked the president of Querétaro Independiente, Maria Concepcion Herrera, who is a local deputy and worked for the administration of the PAN member Ignacio Loyola in the entity between 1997 and 2003.

The actor who made Mexicans and foreigners laugh expressed his gratitude at being considered for this nomination with the support of a team from the institute itself.

On the other hand, in his message, Villagrán criticized the politicians whom he pointed out as having abused power, leaving aside public service.
