Wizz Air will offer a total of seven new flights to the city from June 1, 2021. On this day the new connection from Karlsruhe / Baden Baden Airport to the second largest city in Romania with around 320,000 inhabitants, which is located in the heart of Transylvania, starts. Three flights a week – Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday – are planned. On June 2nd the new connection from Hamburg to Klausenburg will start. An Airbus A320 connects the Hanseatic city with Transylvania every Wednesday and Sunday. The Cologne-Klausenburg route is also new. Starting June 4th, the trip to Romania will take place on Mondays and Fridays. Wizzair flights to Cluj-Napoca are already available from Dortmund, Frankfurt Hahn, Memmingen, Nuremberg and Berlin.

Traditionally, there are diverse relationships between Transylvania and Germany. “In this way, we can not only offer people who want to get their jobs and study places in Germany a quick and inexpensive way to travel, but also enable visits to friends and relatives in both countries,” explains Wizz Air press spokesman Andras Rado. Transylvania, also known as Transylvania, also offers tourists a variety of experiences between forests and castles.

Wizz Air implements extensive hygiene measures to protect passengers and crews. It goes without saying that the crew and passengers wear face masks during the flight. The cabin crew also use gloves. The aircraft are subjected to an anti-virus program according to the highest industry standard every day and disinfected every night. Rebookings are with WIZZ Flex anytime possible.
