The candidate for mayor of Valledupar, Camilo Quiroz Hinojosa, was present at the debate organized by the media: El Pilón, Radio Guatapurí and RTA Noticias, which took place at the facilities of the University of the Andean Area in Valledupar . Candidate Quiroz stood out for his clear and punctual argumentation of his proposals to improve the main problems that concern the vallenatos. In terms of security, he explained his ambitious plan that includes the recovery of 60 safe areas, freeing them from the consumption and sale of drugs and providing them with adequate lighting. In addition, it plans to implement cutting-edge technology with security cameras and a fleet of drones with facial recognition and license plate identification at long distances, establish a SIES security information room to act quickly against criminal acts and the creation of a wide network of collaborators to work on crime prevention.
Regarding employment, Quiroz proposes the creation of laboratories for entrepreneurs and the transformation of the La Nevada neighborhood into the new economic, cultural and tourist center of Valledupar, taking advantage of the current modern and contemporary trends of the new generations, thus generating economic opportunities. and cultural for the community.
Finally, the candidate emphasized that Valledupar needs a mayor who meets three conditions: experience and training, youth to provide energy and impetus, and, above all, independence, who is not tied to traditional political structures, qualities that his political project.
