According to a letter sent by six members of the Ukrainian parliament to the president of the Board of Directors of the Senate, Olga Sánchez Cordero, among other supplies requested are: anti-tank guided weapons, aerial missiles, small arms, grenade launchers and other ammunition, bulletproof vests and helmets.

“Your Excellency (Senator) President, we take advantage of this channel to greet you with respect and thank you for Ukraine’s support in the fight for freedom (…) The armed forces of the Russian Federation are attacking from different directions. We are fighting the battles every second in almost every corner of Ukraine. We believe that only massive military support from our allies can help us push back the enemy.”

The letter was delivered to Senator Gustavo Madero by the Ukrainian ambassador to Mexico, Oksana Dramaretska, after a meeting with the Plural Group at the diplomatic headquarters. German Martinez and Emilio Alvarez Icaza also attended the meeting.

“Providing them with weapons will stop civilian casualties and block further movement of the Russian Armed Forces deeper into Ukrainian territory,” it added.

The letter, which has already been delivered to the Board of Directors of the Senate, is signed by the following members of the Ukrainian parliament: Olena Khomenko, Yevheniia Kracvhuck, Vitalii Bezghin, Oleksander Trukhin, Oleg Tarasov and Serhiy Bunin.
