Witcher series exceeds 50 million sales

CD Projekt Red has reason to celebrate: How pcgamer.com reports that the Witcher series has sold over 50 million games, despite the fact that the last part (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt) started five years ago.

An important reason for the continued popularity is likely the Netflix series, which started in December 2019. In the same month, sales of the third game increased by a whopping 554 percent compared to December 2018. The following month, it broke the record of 100,000 simultaneous players on Steam. Part 3 also appeared on Switch last year, followed by card tactics Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales.
