Wisconsin recount does not bring Trump a profit, even more votes for Biden

Biden was already the winner in Wisconsin. He had a lead of just over 20,000 votes. After this recount, the 10 electors representing the state will be definitively transferred to Biden. Thanks to the recount, he gained 132 votes.

President Trump’s team requested a partial recount of the votes on November 18 and paid $ 3 million ($ 2.5 million). Anyone who wants a recount in Wisconsin must pay for it. Trump chose not to count statewide again.

Wisconsin has ten electoral votes. If Trump had won after the recount, it wouldn’t have changed the national result. Biden has 306 electoral votes, Trump made 232.

Departure from the White House

The president still refuses to recognize Biden’s victory, and calls almost daily (without providing evidence) that the elections have been fraudulent. Trump said yesterday for the first time that he will leave the White House if Biden gets the majority of the electors behind him.

There were also recounts, with or without lawsuits, in the states of Georgia, Arizona, and Pennsylvania. Those states were all won by Biden and that didn’t change after the vote count again.
