Wirtz: ‘Unplugged II’ tour not until early 2022 – keep the anticipation

The German singer and songwriter Daniel Wirtz is postponing the tour for his successful album “Unplugged II” to 2022 and at the same time appeals to the optimism of his fans. However, there is still hope for his open-air shows in summer.

It just isn’t meant to be: Wirtz has to postpone his “Unplugged II” tour, which has already been postponed to 2021, to early 2022 again. The reason for this are event bans, which will probably also apply in the next few months.

“It does not come as a surprise, but it is still bitter: The situation is currently not allowing anything. No planning security, no anticipation – and no WIRTZ unplugged tour,” said the German singer and songwriter.

But Wirtz is in good spirits that his largely sold-out tour can take place at least from January 2022 and will be even better after the long wait, namely “with the full (small) orchestra, the appropriate anticipation, the whole mess behind and a lot of wonderful evenings in front of us. So the dream and we firmly believe that it will come true this time. “

Great moments in an intimate setting

In 2022, the singer, together with his band and a four-piece string ensemble, will bring songs from his third-placed album “Unplugged II” to the stage, guaranteeing “great moments in an intimate setting”.

Until then, owners should keep their tickets in a safe place, because they will of course remain valid for the new dates. He also wishes his fans health and optimism. He and his team are setting a good example here.

Open air shows have not yet been affected

The popular open-air shows, which are scheduled for July and August 2021, have not yet had to be postponed.

Wirtz currently sees a realistic chance for this: “We hope, no, we are convinced that we will finally be able to play some shows outside again in the summer. With a distance and different, but with a lot of fun.”
