Winners in the main categories of the Golden Globes

These are the winners in the main categories of the 78th edition of the Golden Globes, which were delivered on Sunday by videoconference due to the pandemic.

“Nomadland” won Chloe Zhao’s prized accolades for Best Dramatic Film and Best Director.

In the comedy or musical category, “Borat, next documentary film” won for best film, and its protagonist, Sacha Baron Cohen, for best actor.

The series “The Crown” dominated in the television drama categories.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler once again hosted the event, which opened the Hollywood awards season culminating with the Oscars on April 25, even though the two comedians were on opposite shores of the country.
