Windows 11 will make it easier to close blocked apps

Windows 11 will soon allow users to complete a task without opening the dedicated manager. In fact, a new shortcut will be presented much easier in the context menu of the taskbar. Much simpler processing than before.

In Windows 11, when an application stops responding, we use the traditional task manager (control + alt + supp) to close it. Something we often do when we’re a little annoyed, as a last resort when faced with a computer that finds itself locked out. Soon it will no longer be necessary to perform this manipulation, it is enough to right-click on the taskbar.

Windows 11 Build 25300, which is available to Insiders, adds this welcome new feature. If an application stops responding, all you have to do is find its icon in the taskbar, click on it and select End Task. This is not new, as it is just an acronym, but it will greatly facilitate our lives.

Windows 11 will slightly revamp the Snap menu

There are other interesting things in Build 25300. Among them, a very light redesign of the Snap option, which allows you to arrange different apps on its screen. No change here, but Microsoft is adding a little descriptive text in addition to the program code used in the diagrams. Last point, the menu now takes less time to appear when you hover over it.

At the moment, all these innovations are still in the testing phase and are intended for the insiders. To take advantage of this, nothing could be simpler, just go to Windows 11 Settings, then to the Windows Update menu. But beware, beta testers can run into a lot of bugs. Others will require patience. Microsoft may choose to release this feature in an upcoming update or reserve it for the big October update, the biggest of the year. The latter really promises a lot, especially in terms of tools.

Of course, we will continue to preview the new features that Microsoft brings to its operating system before releasing this big update.
