Windows 11 Facing Issues with TPM Support on Some Processors, particularly AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D

The presence of the TPM module is one of the requirements of the Windows 11 operating system. Modern processors are equipped with it, however, in the absence of it, the computer can be equipped with an additional TPM module. But it looks like Windows 11 may now have trouble recognizing TPM support on some processors, although everything should be fine. Although the system evaluates that the TPM is ready to use, but for some reason the result is negative and the system pretends that the PC is not compatible with Windows 11 due to TPM problems.

The issue seems to most commonly affect those who have upgraded to an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, which should have no issues with TPM. However, users of other Ryzens have also encountered problems, and it is said that isolated problems have already occurred on the Intel platform (I would be careful here, it may be incorrect information, only the problem with the AMD platform is officially being investigated). Problems can occur in different combinations, someone experienced it from Ryzen 5 2600 to 7 5700X, another from 5800X to 5800X3D.

Microsoft has been running the bug since mid-March for Windows 10 and 11. The mentions, that TPM attestation can throw error 0x80070490 on AMD platforms and that there is no fix available for now. Users solve the problem by buying an external module, or by returning to the original CPU. Some suggest going back, turning TPM off, upgrading to a new processor, and then turning TPM back on.
