A window cleaner died after falling over with a cherry picker in Groningen last week. His employer announced this today.
The 53-year-old man was according to RTV North on Wednesday morning at work at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences in the city, when the aerial platform overturned for unknown reasons. The man was taken to a hospital, where he died of his injuries last night.
The cleaning company where the man worked writes on Facebook to be “deeply moved and full of disbelief”. “He has been with our organization since 2007. We are not only losing a nice, loyal colleague in him, but also a professional.”
