Wimbledon heading for massive renovation after golf course purchase

One of the four main Grand Slam tournaments, Wimbledon, takes place every year between the end of June and the end of July. It attracts the best players in the world and has hosted some of the most iconic matches.

Construction is expected to begin in 2022 and be completed in 2026. After that, it will take up to two years for the courts to develop and host the qualifying rounds for the trial.

In 2030, the new court would be ready to host matches. Wimbledon is one of the most historic events, not only in tennis but in the entire sporting universe. It is the only tennis event where players don an all-white outfit from head to toe.
