All this because of Rudi’s fire engine, which was repaired by Wim. The two did not agree on the repair costs and the fire turned out to be more difficult to extinguish than expected.
Rudi thought he was getting money from Wim, while Wim simply thought that Rudi simply could not pay the debts. In the end, Mr. Frank Visser that Rudi still owed about a thousand euros to Wim. And if he did not pay it within three months, Wim was allowed to sell Rudi’s beloved old-timer fire truck.

When Viktor returns to Terheijden it turns out that Rudi has paid the outstanding bill to Wim. He only appears to have sold his beloved fire truck immediately after payment. He gives the reason that the new owner can take better care of the car.
