Before viewing the portrait, Kate and William Sami Massalami met Mohammed Elmassalami Ayad. He volunteers at a community Food Hub in Hackney and was portrayed for the Hold Still project.
The Duke and Duchess then traveled to St. Bartholomew’s Hospital to speak with hospital staff, including Joyce Duah, a specialist oncology pharmacist. Her photo ‘All In This Together’ was selected. Her two colleagues Amelia Chowdhury and Dipal Samuel, who are featured in the selected photo, were also allowed to meet William and Catherine.
Since its launch, the online exhibition The Hold Still has been viewed more than 4.8 million times.
