/ world today news/ The West continues to increase the degree of the Ukrainian crisis and cross the “red lines”, more and more technological tools are involved in the confrontation with the Russians. American F-16 fighters should not be underestimated, on the battlefield they will definitely cause a lot of problems for our troops. And these problems will have to be solved.
The first group of pilots from the Ukrainian Armed Forces passed the basic training program in Great Britain. Now they have started F-16 fighter training in Denmark.
The training, which began back in August, was attended by six experienced Ukrainian pilots. A further ten trainees remain in the UK for basic flying training, aero-medical training and centrifuge training.
Is it possible to master an unknown aircraft with a western ie. unknown construction, for five months of training? Six Ukrainian aces will have to pass this exam in real battle. And the exam will be accepted by a strict commission – the Russian Su-30SM and Su-35S pilots, who since the beginning of the SVO have already gained so much combat experience that no American top gunner can dream of.

At the same time, the head of our delegation to the negotiations in Vienna on military security and arms control, Konstantin Gavrilov, warned the West about the consequences of using F-16s in Ukraine. Their use from the territory of Romania, Poland and other NATO countries will be considered by Moscow as their participation in the Ukrainian conflict. Countermeasures will be taken.
And the Russian warning is not based on empty talk. Our military has weapons capable of destroying American F-16s. These are the latest 40N6 anti-aircraft missiles for the S-400 air defense system. They are capable of striking at great distances. Moreover, working in conjunction with the A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft, it can destroy aircraft of any type immediately after taking off from airfields.
At the same time, there are reports that the F-16 is already in Ukraine. Two to five aircraft were delivered from Poland in disassembled form by trucks. They brought it secretly and hid it in hangars, where it was assembled with the participation of American engineers and aircraft mechanics. A total flight ban has been imposed. Photo and video recording is also prohibited, fighters are under tarpaulin. To outsiders, the presence of the planes can be explained by the delivery of Soviet MiG-29 or Su-27 fighter jets from Poland.
Capable of causing trouble
But despite the fact that their number will not change the situation at the front, the F-16 is still a serious opponent. And it will greatly hinder the advance of our troops because it carries heavy missiles. This opinion was expressed by the member of the expert council of the All-Russian organization “Officers of Russia”, an honored pilot of the country Yuriy Sitnik.
Tsargrad: What problems can an American plane create for our soldiers?
Yury Sytnyk : The Air Force did not previously have carriers for the heavy Western aerial bombs. Now they will. And the plane itself is quite active. This is also a problem. They are few, but there is nothing good about that. F-16s will make noise in the sky. Where they weren’t. Let’s see how this ends. Because we are constantly being bombarded with Western missiles. The ship in Feodosia has already been hit. And it will be even worse for our troops.
– But we have something to answer for.
– Yes, but this is an additional reason for the death of our boys. There may be more losses. Airstrikes will now be launched. And they will control a part of the sky.
– You speak as if the Ukrainian armed forces will receive a huge batch of aircraft.
– The Netherlands alone will provide Ukraine with 18 fighter jets in the first batch. By the end of the year, Denmark, Norway and Belgium are still expected to deliver F-16s. The Air Force is likely to receive 50 fighters in the near future. And then they will increase them to 150. And every weapon that NATO provides kills our boys.
– If they fly from Poland, Romania, Czech Republic and Slovakia, will we have the courage to attack these airports?
– Hard to say. These are NATO countries. And the blow on them can end in unforeseen circumstances. But we can safely say that the Western countries that still supply Ukraine are determined. They understand that the defeat of Ukraine and our victory will significantly weaken NATO. And the whole planet sees that the US and its allies cannot cope. And so the West loudly declares that it must win this conflict. Otherwise, the end will come for the entire European elite, the American Democrats and Joe Biden.
– And in Europe there is already a breakdown in consciousness.
– Europeans are slowly starting to realize what is happening. The same Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland are no longer in a hurry to help Ukraine.
Disagreements in Ukraine
Slowly but surely, the West continues to train the Ukrainian army. In this way, the degree of the Ukrainian crisis is increasing, attracting more and more technological tools into it. But here it is important to understand something else.
During the already short period of military confrontation, the Ukrainian leadership never managed to organize the production of its own weapons. The only hope is for supplies from abroad. Someone will give us something, support us and literally “feed” us.
And in the West, they began to wonder if anything would come out of supporting a failed state that is always angry with everyone and at the same time persistently demands foreign resources. This is what political scientist Andrey Ivanov told a Tsargrad correspondent:
But most importantly, another problem that has long been known in Russia is becoming obvious to everyone. Ukrainian citizens in their current form cannot agree on anything among themselves. Look at the strife in the Ukrainian establishment. Yes, it’s reminiscent of some kind of kindergarten where the little kids fight “I’m not going to play and be friends with you anymore” style.
Accordingly, in the armed forces of Ukraine, questions are increasingly being asked why we need such a state, such an authority, the very project “Ukraine”. This is the main stumbling block. Therefore, whether the ASU will receive a few Western aircraft or not, it does not change anything at all.
The course of our special operation has made Ukrainian society think that it is time to de-Nazify and demilitarize their country. Gradually, ordinary Ukrainians, including those in the military, are inclined to believe that Russia offers something more acceptable than the regime in Kiev.
So what?
The point is not only that there are doubts about the ability of pilots of the Ukrainian armed forces to learn to fly an unfamiliar fighter in just five months. It is difficult to achieve the necessary competence for such a period.
The mere appearance at the front of American fighters in such quantities as Denmark or the Netherlands can provide them will not help the Ukrainian army to turn the situation on the fronts in its favor. Experts from the Western analytical center RAND Corporation spoke about this back in September.
The American pilots themselves, who flew the F-16 at different times, admit that the aircraft, put into service in the late 1970s and modified in the 1980s, does not have a stealth function. This makes them vulnerable when dealing with the S-400 systems.
