Jörg Siebenhandl’s time in Graz could end after three years. Apparently the goalie has the chance to move to Germany for the second time in his career.
As “Liga-zwei.de” reports, the Karlsruhe SC shows great interest in a commitment of the 30-year-old. The Viennese are free to transfer in summer, the SK Sturm and he have not yet been able to agree on an extension of the expiring contract.
At KSC, “Seven” would be planned as the new number one after regular goalie Benjamin Uphoff will leave the club.

Oliver Kreuzer is the sports director of the Karlsruhe team – the 54-year-old is very well networked in Austria, having been FC Red Bull Salzburg’s sports director in 2006/07 and then in Graz for three years.
Siebenhandl has already tried it in the second-highest German league – he was with the Würzburger Kickers in 2016/17. A move to Karlsruhe is only an issue if the second division club currently involved in the relegation battle holds the class.
At SK Sturm, Tobias Schützenauer and Christopher Giuliani are two young goalies who are eagerly waiting for their chance as the new number one.
