TIME.CO, Jakarta – Cell phone vivo X Fold + will be released at the end of this month. As always, the launch will take place nationwide in China on September 26, 2022, starting at 7:00 pm local time.
Vivo says the “+” on the X Fold + means “It will develop in an even stronger way”. It is unclear what the translation of the term “stronger” means, whether it implies an increase in battery life, the material the device is made of to be more durable, or something else.
Vivo shared an image revealing the shape of the X Fold Plus design. The device looks similar to the previous vivo X Fold but there will now be a red variant called “Huaxia Red”. Vivo describes it as follows: “In our eyes, it is the spiritual background of Chinese civilization and a symbol of progress and development.” Another variant, it is black and blue.
No details have been given on the specifications of the X Fold + but from the news that is circulating this phone will be powered by a chip Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. It will also contain a 4,730mAh battery with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. AnTuTu reveals that the X Fold + will have 12GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a display refresh rate of 120. Hz.
There are no price losses yet. What is clear is that the original Vivo X Fold is priced at CNY 9,000 or around Rp 19 million. when it was released. Another thing that needs to be considered is availability because the Vivo X Fold is still a China exclusive. In Indonesia, this phone stopped in a shopping mall just for an exhibition.
