Sometimes posting a simple image on a forum can be a big hassle, even if it does not break any rules of decency and it is not offensive to morality, race or religion.
This is what must have said for a few hours a surfer member of Reddit, who would have posted an image of the famous game Call of Duty: Modern Warefare before the release of the latest version of the latter. According to a summons from Activision under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to Reddit, this user has posted infringing Activision content in the Reddit Modern Warfare subdirectory. The DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) subpoena accuses the Reddit member known by the pseudonym “Assyrian2410” of having shared the image on the pretext of having found it in line, even though the link to it has since been removed.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Activision would require Reddit to have its publishers identify the alleged infringers.
