How times change. In March 2007, Olten was still at the bottom and Langenthal at the top: Langenthal won the qualification, Olten didn’t even make the playoffs with 37 points fewer. And President Stephan Anliker proudly presents an external study that declares hockey in the top league in Langenthal to be feasible. He calmly explains: “We want to get promoted, but we don’t have to.” The officially announced clever strategy: “A possible NLA affiliation is to be striven for in the medium term.”
