There was a time when she was Romana Jáklova, for single Vítová, in one round. The whole nation knew her as the tree frog from Prima. The Film parties she organized with her husband for years were legendary. But then the ground seemed to collapse after her.

Romana, who was used to the spotlight, suddenly disappeared from public life. When she didn’t accompany last year Peter Jákl, who already awaits the premiere of the feature film Jan Žižka in September, at the Karlovy Vary festival, the journalists present asked where he was. She withdrew into seclusion
“She avoids society. He doesn’t want to go anywhere anymore. She had to promise me that she would go to the premiere of Žižka, but that is also not certain yet,” added Jákl, who admitted to us in a very open interview why Romana withdrew into seclusion and last appeared by his side in the company in 2019.
