Why DLSS2 and 3 Make AMD’s Appeal Fizzle: A Middle Income Gamer’s Perspective

I know it’s slightly offtopic, but I’m a middle income gamer. I don’t get the allure of AMD since DLSS2 or 3. Every nVidia card supports FSR, AMD doesn’t support DLSS.

I game at 1440p with a 2060 OC and can play anything with DLLS on Quality and settings with no RT maxed out / some really heavy lower.

I’m not a fanboy, in my 20 years of gaming history the number of years AMD or nVidia have lived in my PC is about equal, but in an era where graphics cards are nowhere near fast enough for the most graphically demanding games and AI Upscaling is the only solution is to keep it playable, why would you choose AMD if you don’t have stock?

Edit: The fanboyism is insane here: 2 cards of the same price can do the same thing, but 1v/d2 can do something extra, which is worse because “all AMD fanboy reasons”…

Without DLSS you’re nowhere in AAA Single player game land, unless (ironically enough) you have an RTX 4090 AMD can’t compete at 1440P and 2160P in graphically demanding single player games because most of them prefer DLSS over FSR. I get a 0, but every comment below me a 1 or higher, how can that be, if it’s a comment on a 0 that is about the comment itself?
Then because of:
Fanboyism Modding. Been a problem on Tweakers for 18 years because they refuse to pay for moderation and let the community fix it. Meanwhile, those karma points are worth more and more… nice. (lost my old account ww/pass, so this one is newer than 20 years yes)
