According to the exit poll poll, Andrzej Duda won the most votes in the first round of the presidential election – 41.8 percent. The second place was taken by Rafał Trzaskowski with 30.4 percent survey support. Independent candidate Szymon Hołownia obtained a third result in the exit poll study – 13.3 percent.

“I know for sure who I won’t vote for”
Szymon Hołownia, after announcing the results of exit poll, talked to TVN’s “Facts” reporter. When asked who he would support in the second round of the election, he replied: “I will tell whom I will vote for after I talk to my leaders first.” This is the most important for me.

He added that he “knows for sure who he will not vote for”. – I will not vote for Andrzej Duda. But this does not exhaust the decisions that a citizen can make – he reserved.

– With my leaders I will agree on an agenda of three or four things that are most important to them and we will put them in front of Rafał Trzaskowski. We will say: “Is this on your way? Are you able to accept it? Because if so, this message will help many of us make a decision” – he said. – But these will always be the personal decisions of free people who joined our movement. I can’t treat them objectively – he noted.

Hołownia: we will not create a political party, but the formula of the association makes sense
He was also asked what his further political plans were. – We have 15 thousand maximally motivated volunteers and activists. Perhaps now they will be 10 or 12 thousand of them. (…) We will not form a political party as long as it is not necessary. I think the association’s formula is something that has sense, arms and legs and is very civil, ‘said an independent presidential candidate.

He noted that “there must be space in this association for three sectors: experts, social activists and people who have political fervor.”
