– A team of experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) who visited Wuhan, Hubei Province, China to investigate the origin of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19), visited the virus laboratory, which was mentioned as the origin of the virus.

According to Reuters and others, the investigation team visited the Wuhan Virus Research Institute for about 3 hours and 30 minutes. The Wuhan Virus Research Institute was designated as the first leak site related to the origin of Corona 19.

Some scientists raised the possibility that the virus leaked to the outside while conducting experiments in which a virus detected in the wild at the Wuhan Virus Research Institute infects humans, Reuters reported.

Dr. Peter Dassack of the WHO research team told reporters, “I hope to be productive,” saying, “I will meet key people at the research center and ask important and necessary questions.”

Afterwards, the WHO survey team briefly told reporters asking about the results after visiting the institute, saying, “It is very interesting” and “There are many questions”. However, he did not answer the question,’What did you discover?’

The investigation team, who arrived in Wuhan last month, is continuing their investigation by visiting the Huanan Seafood Market and Animal Disease Center after 14 days of quarantine. The Chinese authorities are in the position that the US should also be investigated by the WHO.
