Who are the Bourbonnais of the promotions of the Legion of Honor and the National Order of Merit

These exceptional promotions of the Legion of Honor and the National Order of Merit rewarded in particular on Friday, January 1, hundreds of people engaged for months against the Covid-19. We notice the presence of several figures of the Allier.

Legion of Honor

Jean-Marc Giraud, sub-prefect of Montluçon, is made knight of the Legion of honor (40 years of service).

Elisabeth Cuisset, vice-president of the departmental council of Allier, mayor of Saint-Germain-des-Fossés, director of an accommodation establishment for dependent elderly people, becomes knight of the Legion of Honor (39 years of service). She is 59 years old.

National Order of Merit

Géraldine Charlat-Spony, head of the accommodation, housing and protection of vulnerable people service at the departmental directorate of social cohesion and protection of populations of the Allier, becomes knight of the national order of merit (20 years of service).

Jean-Yves Larraufie, director of the L’Oréal factories in Vichy and La Roche-Posay, is knighted in the National Order of Merit. Aged 37, he graduated from Polytechnique (17 years of service).

Gregory Dolé, director of the Allier departmental delegation of the regional health agency, is made a Knight of the National Order of Merit (11 years of service).

Frédéric Aguilera, mayor (LR) of Vichy, is made a knight of the National Order of Merit. Aged 45, he entered politics 25 years ago. He is also president of Vichy communautaire and vice-president of the Allier department.

Emmanuel Lorenzi, head of the interministerial defense and civil protection service of the Allier prefecture, is made a knight of the National Order of Merit (27 years of service).

Isabelle Domenech-Bonet, general practitioner in Avermes, president of a territorial health council and of a territorial health professional community, becomes Knight of the National Order of Merit (26 years of service). It was at the initiative of a consultation center – Covid room – for patients with symptoms of Covid-19, opened in Moulins at the end of March.

Véronique Carré, head of the departmental unit of the Regional Directorate for Enterprises, Competition, Consumption, Labor and Employment, becomes Knight of the National Order of Merit (36 years of service).

On a national level

In all, 1,229 people were awarded the Legion of Honor : 1087 knights, 111 officers, 21 commanders, 7 grand officers and 3 grandcross. Among them, 40 people who died from Covid-19 were posthumously named knights.

Regarding theNational Order of Merit, 2655 people were distinguished, divided between 2385 knights, 225 officers, 35 commanders, 7 grand officers and 3 grandcross.
