The Karlsruhe University of Education will open its academic year on October 28th with a live stream panel discussion on the subject of digital education. A linguist, an education researcher and a cognitive scientist will discuss. The public event focuses on educational research and teacher training.

Digital education is a key competence of the 21st century and is the focus of a public discussion with which the Karlsruhe University of Education (PHKA) will open its academic year on Wednesday, October 28th at 6 p.m. Because digital education is not only an important cross-sectional profile of the PHKA, but also a synergy-laden intersection of its three new tenure-track professorships.
On www.ph-karlsruhe.de, the language didactic specialist Jun. Prof.in Dr. Nadine Anskeit, the educational scientist Jun. Prof. Dr. Samuel Merk and the cognitive scientist Jun. Prof. Dr. Alexander Skulmowski. The focus is on educational research and teacher training. This involves questions such as: What changes in schools through the use of digital media? How can effective digital learning methods be developed? And how useful are which methods in which subject?
The journalist Markus Bender will moderate. Students of the university provide the musical framework with singing and piano. In addition, three lecturers receive the certificates for recently successfully accredited courses.
