Data rates are limited in roaming because your operator has to pay the operator whose network you are using when you are traveling. For example, if you are from Vodafone and you travel to Germany and you connect to the Deutsche Telekom network, then Vodafone will have to pay an amount established and agreed by the EU per mega. For this reason, each operator allows its users, depending on the rate, to consume more or less gigs abroad, and we will see which one gives more, which can help you choose an unlimited rate or another if you travel frequently, since it can be a differentiating factor.
Movistar
Movistar is the operator that offers the most gigs in roaming. With the mobile rate Infinite Contract we can navigate with up to 50 GB in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and the United Kingdom. In the unlimited lines included in Fusion we also have 50 GB to navigate while roaming, costing 0.0041 euros per MB once we get past that traffic.
Vodafone
Vodafone has always been a good option to have roaming rates, since in addition to the European Union, United Kingdom, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, it also allows roaming in the United States. The gigs that offer their mobile rates are:
- Vodafone Unlimited: 20 GB
- Vodafone Unlimited Maxi: 18 GB
- Vodafone Unlimited Super: 22 GB
- Vodafone Unlimited Total: 24 GB
In the convergent One rates, the roaming gigs are equal in the mobile rates with equivalent name. For example, in One Unlimited Total, we have 24 GB of roaming.
Orange
Orange has two mobile rates with unlimited data, and these are the gigs that allow you to use it when roaming:
- Go Up: 17 GB in European Union, United Kingdom, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. € 0.0041 per MB after exceeding the limit
- Go Top: 23 GB in European Union, United Kingdom, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. € 0.0041 per MB after exceeding the limit
In the case of convergent, the rates Love Original Without Limits, Love Extra Without Limits and Love Total Without Limits they allow you to use up to 22 GB when roaming, while Love Total Sin Limits 4 allows you to use up to 23 GB when roaming. The additional price applied per MB is also 0.0041 euros.
Yoigo
The operator has the Endless Gigas Endless, but the web does not appear what the rate limit is or in the conditions. We have contacted the operator, and they have informed us that the limit is 20 GB, as in the convergent one that has unlimited data.
Euskaltel
Euskaltel launched the convergent rate Complete 500 Infinity a few days ago, which includes an unlimited line. This line has up to 20 GB en roaming.
